Jina Huh, PhD, MHCI, Michigan State University

Dr. Jina Huh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media and Information at Michigan State University. For this pilot project, she will serve as an HCI expert who will contribute to the design and evaluation of iSee-DELVE. Dr. Huh received a career grant from NLM on developing interfaces to help online health community users gain high quality health information. She received an NLM postdoctoral training in health informatics from the University of Washington School of Medicine, earned a PhD from the University of Michigan School of Information, and received a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Carnegie Mellon University. She has taught the Interaction Design course and the Health Informatics course both at the graduate level, helped design the undergraduate curriculum of Creating Human-Centered Technology concentration at Michigan State University, and worked on various projects using formative and summative evaluations of systems.
